Good Things Come to Those Who Bait

Heritage Pointe Warren Senior Living Residents Fishing for Fun

There’s a saying that “good things come to those who bait.” The source is unknown, but the sentiment is prevalent. It’s estimated that more than 55 million Americans enjoy fishing each year.

Residents at Heritage Pointe of Warren had the chance to ‘take the bait’ last week, as more than four dozen participated in the annual fishing trip. They were graciously hosted on the property of a friend to the senior living community and caught enough sunfish and bluegill to have a fish fry afterward.

“This is the fifth year that we’ve had this event, and it’s really popular for our residents,” said Sydney Miller, residential sales director. “Our residents have many different interests and hobbies. We’re grateful that not only can we hold a lot of programs and activities on our campus, but we also have neighbors eager to host us as well.”
